Resetting A Forgotten Password
Forgotten your password to the administrative area? Not a problem.
Step 1: Navigate To The Login Page
First, make your way to the administrative login page. You'll find it by adding "/admin" to your website address. For example, if your website was "example.com", you'd find the administrative login page at example.com/admin.
Once you're there, underneath the login form is a link that says "I've forgotten my password". Click it!
Step 2: Send Yourself The "Password Reset" Email
In the "Reset My Password" form, please enter your email address, then click "Send Password Reset Email". The email address you enter must match the email address we have on file for your account.
Step 3: Check Your Email
You should receive an email that looks like this in the next few seconds. If you don't see the email in your Inbox, please check your junk mail or SPAM folders.
In this email, you'll see a link to reset your password. This link expires after 24 hours (security feature). Click it!
Step 4: Enter Your New Password
Enter the new password for your account. We recommend something that someone isn't likely to guess, preferably a random mix of numbers, characters (like "#" or "@"), and uppercase and lowercase letters. You can use a tool like "Password Safe" (Windows) or Keychain (Mac) to keep track of these random passwords, so that you don't need to write them down or remember them at all.
Now that you've set your new password, go ahead and log in to the admin area. You're all set to go!
